A year ago today, I received my control kit that I gifted myself for my birthday. I had been stalking the Lashify Life FB Group page for a few weeks when I decided I was finally tired of making appointments for extensions.
In one year I’ve learned so much. Not just about Lashify but about myself.
I’ve learned I don’t need 7-10 days wear (although I can easily get that when I’m too lazy or too busy to change them).
I’ve learned that I will never get extensions again. Like, ever.
I’ve learned there are Gossamers I didn’t like at first that I totally love now, like the Stardusts I’m wearing right now. I had ordered these early on in my Lashify journey, but they didn’t work for me. Fast forward a year later and I have learned that mixing Gossamers that I’m not so crazy about with one’s I love has really upped my lash game. I’ve created some pretty fantastic maps like this one (Overlapped P12, SD14, SD16 SD14 and P14.
Stacked: SD16, EI18, SD16) that I LOVE now.
I’ve also learned not to care so much about symmetry because my eyes are sisters not twins.
Most of all, I’ve learned that when life’s getting to me - I can come to the Lashify Life FB Group page to be uplifted, inspired and sometimes get a good chuckle. There are so many kind, encouraging, funny and positive women here. This is a community where everyone is always willing and happily helping others, be it with application or longevity advice, organization, tips n tricks or even with an emergency “I’m out of town and in a pickle” type of help.
So to the newbies; be patient. Give yourself grace. The worst that can happen is that you don’t like a map and you start over. Practice makes perfect, and even with a year in, I still get clumps, I still have mishaps, I still hate some maps and start right over.
The beauty of Lashify is that it’s your journey, and your time. No rules!

Enjoy it, embrace it, but most of all have fun! It’s so liberating to be able to do these yourself. It’s a freedom I’ll always be grateful for. Play with your products, don’t be afraid.
Follow Lashify’s social media pages, there is so much information out there. The Educators are not only knowledgeable, they’re so personable and friendly – always willing to answer questions or help, especially in the Lashify Life Group FB page.
Lastly, remember longevity is in the eye of the beholder.
When I first started, I thought I wanted to wear mine for weeks at a time but I quickly learned that I actually love to change mine out every 3rd or 4th day. Do what works for you because the beauty of this product is that there is really no wrong or right, it’s just what works for you and your eye chemistry.
My favorite bond technique: Is basic if I’m planning on changing my gossamers in 3 - 4 days: One swipe of the black Whisper Light through my lashes, let dry a little, then one dab of Bondage at the base.
If I know it will be a long or busy week, my go to is the Stoner method. I know those babies aren’t moving! I can go up to 10 days with this method.
Two of my favorite Lashify products are the Lashicurl and lash comb to freshen up my lashes in between. They are total game changers!
My third most favorite Lashify product is the Release. My Gossamers come off so easily, and it’s super gentle and buttery soft. Simply exquisite.
I am always in awe of how this product was created by a woman for women (and men of course ☺️) so that every product just compliments the other.
I’m most definitely a Lashify customer for life!
