Lashify will always post new versions of the Privacy Policy on the Website. However, Lashify may also notify you of material changes made to this Privacy Policy via email or otherwise as required under applicable law. We collect information from you directly when you interact with our Website, automatically based on your use of our services, and from other sources as described in more detail below.

Information You Provide to Us

We collect the following types of information directly from you.

  • Account Creation. To create an account with us, we ask you to provide your full name, email address, and password. You may optionally also provide a more detailed profile, including a profile photo, date of birth, eye color and shape, skin color, preferences, and information about the Lashify products you use.
  • Purchases. We may collect personal information and details associated with your purchases, including phone number, payment and shipping information. Any payments made via our Website are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not directly collect or store any payment card information entered through our Website, but we may receive information associated with your payment card information (e.g., your billing details).
  • Your Communications with Us. We may collect personal information, such as your email address, phone number, or mailing address when you request information about our services, register for our newsletter or loyalty program, request customer or technical support, or otherwise communicate with us. With your permission, we may send you text messages about our store, new products, and other updates, such as checkout reminders.
  • Surveys. We may contact you to participate in surveys. If you decide to participate, we may collect personal information from you in connection with the survey. 
  • Interactive Features. We and others who use our Website may collect personal information that you submit or make available through our interactive features (e.g., commenting, posting, and review features). Any information you provide using the public sharing features of the Website will be considered “public,” unless otherwise required by applicable law. Please exercise caution before revealing any information that may identify you in the real world to other users.
  • Sweepstakes or Contests. We may collect personal information you provide for any sweepstakes or contests that we offer. In some jurisdictions, we are required to publicly share information of sweepstakes and contest winners.
  • Biometric Information. If you consent to our collection of biometric information, you agree that we may collect a scan of the facial geometry around your eye in order to allow you to try on lashes in a virtual environment. Note that we only collect your eye shape and color, and do NOT collect your iris, retina, or any other information for the purpose of identifying you in the real world. Your biometric information may be shared with our service providers solely to operate the service. Where required by law, we will delete your biometric information within three years from your last interaction with our Website.

We will not ask for or request sensitive information such as government identifiers, medical information, or financial information (except in connection to payments). Please do not provide this information to us through e-mails, feedback forms, or in any other way unless specifically requested.

Information Generated from Use of the Website

We also collect certain technical information automatically when you access, browse, and use our Website, including information that we receive and record from your browser or mobile platform on our server logs. This technical information helps us operate and provide our Website to you, and includes standard information about visits and system capabilities, such as:

  • information about the device(s) you use to access our Website, including MAC address, IP address, browser type and version, your location, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, device type, device and application identifiers, operating information, mobile carrier, and cookies;

Cookies and Beacons. We also use cookies, beacons and similar technologies (collectively, “Technologies”), to support the functionality of our Website.

  • Browser Cookies. A browser cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. That cookie then communicates with servers, ours or those of other companies that we authorize to collect data for us, and allows recognition of your personal computer.
  • Pixel Tags/Web Beacons. Our Website and e-mails may contain small electronic files known as beacons (also referred to as web beacons, clear GIFs, pixel tags and single-pixel GIFs) that permit us to, for example, count Users who have visited those pages or opened an e-mail and for other website-related statistics. Social Media Platforms. Our Website may contain social media buttons, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok, which might include widgets such as the “share this” button or other interactive mini programs). These features may collect personal information such as your IP address and which page you are visiting on our Website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Your interactions with these platforms are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Information from Other Sources

We may receive certain information about you from the organizations or entities on behalf of which we provide the Content to you. We may also supplement the technical information we collect from your use of the Website with information collected by third parties. Such third parties may include service providers, such as, Inc., Shopify, Inc., and Google Inc., that help us understand and provide better service to you.

We share your information with our service providers to the extent reasonably necessary to enable us to operate our business and provide our Website to you, as described in this Privacy Policy (e.g., to an e-mail service provider in order to enable us to e-mail you, or to a shipping provider to get you your products).

  • Advertising Partners. We may share your personal information with third-party advertising partners. For purposes of the CCPA, Lashify does not “sell” personal information, nor do we have actual knowledge of any “sale” of personal information of minors under 16 years of age, as the term “sell” is commonly understood. That said, we may share information with third-party advertising partners for the purpose of promoting our services as described above. To the extent that such sharing is considered a “sale” under California law, you may limit such sharing by sending us an email at, and by taking the steps outlined in the section “Your Choices” below to limit your use of cookies.

When contacting us, please indicate your name, address, email address, and the nature of your request. Please note that there is no charge for controlling the sharing of your Personal Information or for processing this request. We will process such requests in accordance with applicable laws. To protect your privacy, we will take steps to reasonably verify your identity before fulfilling your request. These steps may involve asking you to provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative, or to answer questions regarding your account and use of our Website. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. Refer-a-Friend and Similar Incentive Programs. As described above in “How We Collect Information,” we may offer referral programs or other incentivized data collection programs. You may have the opportunity to receive certain communications from us related to our Website.
