Wear time

How long are your Gossamer® Lashes currently lasting?

Good to know

Your application technique, natural lash chemistry, lifestyle, and aftercare all play a role in longevity. A few small adjustments to your routine can make a big difference in how long your Gossamers® last!

Prep

How are you prepping your natural lashes before applying?

Good to know

Clean, oil-free, completely dry lashes create the ideal foundation for a longer-lasting application. Use Pre-Cleanse to remove oils, makeup, and residue before applying your bond.

Bond

How much bond are you applying?

Good to know

More bond doesn't always mean more hold! Applying too much can cause slipping, clumping, and poor adhesion. Thin, even layers are key to a secure, flexible hold.

Tack

Are you letting your bond get tacky before placing your Gossamers®?

Good to know

Applying Gossamers® while your bond is still wet can cause slipping and poor adhesion. Allow your bond to become fully tacky before application. Tacky time varies depending on the bond you're using! Whisper Light® is ready in about 30 seconds.

Placement

Where are you placing your Gossamers®?

Good to know

Placement matters! Position your Gossamers® approximately 1–2 mm away from your waterline, attached to your natural lashes rather than your skin. This helps prevent discomfort, premature lifting, and irritation.

Fusing

Are you fusing after applying your lashes?

Good to know

Fusing for approximately 10–15 seconds helps secure your Gossamers® to your natural lashes. Use your Fuse Control® Wand to apply gentle, even pressure across your lash map for a strong, seamless bond.

Sealing

What’s your sealing routine?

Good to know

Sealers can help protect your application! Water Poof® creates a water-repelling barrier, while Night Line® adds a matte black finish. Glass provides a glossy finishing touch. Choose your sealer based on your desired finish and wear needs.

Aftercare

Do you use oils or oil-based products near your lashes?

Good to know

Oils can break down your bond and cause premature lifting. Be mindful of oil-based cleansers, makeup removers, and skincare products that may come into contact with your lash line.

Select all that apply

What does your daily routine look like?

Good to know

Your lifestyle can affect lash longevity! If you're active, have oily lids, or experience watery eyes, consider Bondage® with Charcoflex®, which is formulated to help manage oil and moisture. If you're a side sleeper, try minimizing friction against your lashes overnight.

Last one

When do you notice your lashes starting to lift?

Good to know

When your lashes lift can help identify why they're lifting. Immediate lifting may indicate a prep, bond, or placement issue. Lifting after sleep may be caused by friction, while lifting after exposure to water or sweat may mean your sealing routine needs adjusting. Corner lifting can also be related to placement or fusing technique.

Your game plan

Your Longer‑Lash Game Plan

A few tweaks. A longer-lasting set. Based on your answers, here’s what to try during your next application.

01 Try this

Start with a clean slate

Clean, oil-free and completely dry.

Bond can’t grip lashes that still carry oil, makeup or moisture. Prep is the foundation every other step sits on.

  1. 01Remove all your makeup first, mascara included.
  2. 02Use Pre-Cleanse to take oil, makeup and residue off your natural lashes.
  3. 03Let your lashes dry completely before you bond. Damp lashes are a common cause of early lifting.

Less bond, better hold

Thin layers grip. Thick layers slip.

Lashify bonds are layering bonds. One generous coat clumps, slides and stays wet too long. Hold comes from thin layers built up one at a time.

  1. 01Apply one thin, even layer of bond through your natural lashes.
  2. 02Let it dry before you add the next thin layer.
  3. 03Stop once your lashes are coated and tacky, not wet or heavy.

Layer. Dry. Layer again.

Tacky is the magic word

Tacky, not wet.

Gossamers® placed into wet bond slide around and lift early. Wait until your bond is tacky: sticky, no longer wet.

  1. 01Whisper Light®: wait about 30 seconds after your last layer.
  2. 02Another bond? Tack time changes with the formula and how much you applied, so give it a little longer.
  3. 03Still wet? Wait a few more seconds. Rushing this step costs you days.
04 Try this

Give your waterline some space

1–2 mm away. On your lashes, never your skin.

Gossamers® attach to the underside of your natural lashes. Too close to the waterline, or touching skin, and they lift early and can feel uncomfortable.

  1. 01Place each Gossamer® about 1–2 mm from your waterline, on your natural lashes.
  2. 02If one touches your skin or waterline, lift it off and place it again.
  3. 03A well-placed lash shouldn’t poke or pull. Comfort is a good test.
05 Try this

Fuse it or lose it

A secure, even fuse across every spine.

Fusing presses each Gossamer® into your natural lashes. A quick squeeze, or fusing only the loose ones, leaves gaps where lifting starts.

  1. 01After placing your lashes, fuse across your full lash map with your Fuse Control® Wand.
  2. 02Use gentle, even pressure for about 10–15 seconds.
  3. 03Make sure every spine gets pressed, inner corner to outer corner.
06 Try this

Rethink your aftercare

Keep oil away from your lash line.

Oil breaks down bond. Oil-based cleansers, makeup removers and skincare can travel to your lash line and loosen your set.

  1. 01Check the labels on your cleanser, makeup remover, eye cream and serums for oils.
  2. 02Keep oil-based products away from your lash line while you wear your Gossamers®.
  3. 03Wash around your lashes gently, without rubbing.

Match your bond to your routine

For sweat, humidity, oily lids or watery eyes.

If you work out, live somewhere humid, or have oily lids or watery eyes, try Bondage® Extra Strength Bond. Its Charcoflex® activated charcoal reduces moisture.

  1. 01Build Bondage® in thin layers, letting each one dry.
  2. 02Let it get tacky, then apply your lashes.
  3. 03Apply Water Poof® inside your Wandom and complete a full fuse.

Ease into water

Showers are fine. Rubbing isn’t.

You can shower a few hours after applying. Lifting after water or sweat usually comes from touching or rubbing wet lashes, or from skipping the seal.

  1. 01Wait a few hours after applying before you shower.
  2. 02Don’t touch, rub or towel your lashes while they’re wet. Let them air-dry.
  3. 03Seal with Water Poof® for a water-repelling barrier.

Sleep-proof your set

Less friction overnight.

Lifting after sleep usually comes from pressure and rubbing against your pillow.

  1. 01Sleep on your back when you can, or keep the side you sleep on off the pillow.
  2. 02Handle your lashes gently in the morning. Don’t rub your eyes.
  3. 03If a lash lifts, fix it right away before it spreads.

Check your corners

Where most lifting starts.

Your corners move the most every time you blink, so they lift first. Placement, length and fusing matter even more here.

  1. 01Keep corner Gossamers® fully on your natural lashes, never on skin.
  2. 02If a corner lash is longer than your natural lashes there, try a shorter length.
  3. 03Make sure the whole spine touches your lashes, then fuse your corners with extra care.

Explore your finishing step

Optional, but it can help.

You don’t need a sealer, but the right one can help protect your set through water and wear.

  1. 01Water Poof®: clear and water-repelling. Apply it right away, best inside the Wandom, then fuse.
  2. 02Night Line®: the black sealer, for coverage. Don’t fuse after applying it.
  3. 03Glass: a glossy finishing coat. Apply it about an hour later, in the Wandom or under the lash line.

You’ve nailed the basics

Now it’s about fine-tuning.

Your routine already covers prep, bond, placement, fusing and aftercare. To get even more wear, take your technique to the next level.

  1. 01Fix any lash that lifts as soon as you see it. Small fixes stop bigger lifts.
  2. 02Make sure your bond and method suit how long you want to wear your set.
