BEST ANTI-AGING CREAMS FOR YOUNGER LOOKING SKIN

Healthy skin is the essence of beauty, the lingerie that makes or breaks the face, so-to-speak. And there are many ways to achieve that healthy skin as well as the glow that comes with it. And it truly begins by taking care of our largest organ, the skin: making sure the body is constantly hydrated or eliminating sugars from our diets. (And let us not forget perhaps the most important of all— sunscreen.) We can also turn to a medley of elixirs, creams, and salves for further aid that boost the factors necessary to attain younger looking skin.

But, let’s be real, it constantly feels like we are drowning in a sea of beauty enhancements— including serums, creams, masks, treatments— that promise the Fountain of Youth: Skin Edition. That being said, with so many options available in the market when it comes to anything and everything anti-wrinkle, we rounded up our top wrinkle creams and anti-aging creams for every taste and every budget!

For the face:

ANTI-AGING FACE CREAM

My go-to: Drunk Elephant - Protini™ Polypeptide Cream $68

This gets it all done. And mostly thanks to the amino acids and 9 signal peptides that allow the plumping and firming of skin— restoring its bounce. I have found that using it twice a day, morning and night, replenishes my skin with just the right amount of moisture it needs to keep its youthful appearance. Say goodbye to sun damage, wrinkles, and fine lines all with one product. Not to mention, it comes in brilliant packaging.

UNDER EYE CREAM

My go-to: La Mer - The Eye Concentrate $235

A tiny little jar, with a whole lot of power. I have spent years and an unfathomable amount of money trying every and any under eye cream imaginable. None have stood the test of time quite like this one. I’m a stickler for texture, and this cream is silky smooth which makes massaging it onto the eye area like a mini-spa experience. It also absorbs quickly. Dark circles, lines, and wrinkles don’t hold a chance against this “antioxidant powerhouse”, which essentially prevents future wrinkles before they even begin.

Holy Grail: Kiehl’s - Midnight Recovery Eye $40

A product to swear by, without breaking the bank. This nighttime eye cream is perfect for younger-looking eyes by the time you wake up. One to two drops a day guarantee a smooth and replenished eye area...reducing the appearance of any puffiness or dark circles thanks to lavender essential oil as well as evening primrose oil for hydration and elasticity.

And we certainly can’t forget about:

HANDS

My go-to: CHANEL - La Crème Main $50

This particular hand cream has remained a constant in my routine. I am guilty of having multiple— I keep one on my nightstand, another in my purse, and a third on my desk. While CHANEL has released a slew of versions throughout the years, (a more textured version, a scented version in N5, and a Le Lift version) I remain true to the original. It wins by being lightweight and easy to blend, absorbs incredibly quickly with a velvety-soft feel and provides instant relief from dryness. After using this hand cream for four years my hands are noticeably smoother. I cannot imagine life without this essential. And yes, the packaging is a dream: an ingenious white squeeze bottle shaped like an egg...that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.

BODY

My go-to: Kiehl’s - Creme De Corps $14-$80

A cult-favorite body cream packed with cocoa butter, squalane, and beta-carotene, the antioxidant found in many red and orange vegetables. The benefits of this cream are endless: it provides a generous amount of moisture without a greasy residue, it is great for any skin type, improves skin’s texture, and it comes in about 5 different sizes to fit your every need. A purse bottle? Check. A liter pump for the bathroom? Check. A travel sized bottle for trips? Check.
