How Does Lash Bond Work?
Our lash bond contains ingredients that help boost your natural lashes in terms of length, fullness, and thickness. They help stimulate eyelash growth for weak and brittle lashes, while also helping nourish the natural renewal cycle of your lash hair so that it can remain strong and healthy.
Your lashes need certain minerals as they grow stronger, and lash bond aids with boosting those minerals.
Lashify’s Bonding Methods
Here at Lashify, we have several special bond formulas that are specifically designed to hold your false lashes in place. These include Clear Whisper Light, Black Whisper Light, and Bondage — so let’s talk about them.
Whisper Light Bond™
The Whisper Light Bond™ is made with technology that provides a nourishing base beneath your lash line so that the roots of your lashes are protected from weight and tension and your natural lashes won’t be damaged.
Our most popular bond is our Whisper Light Bond, which comes in both clear and black. If you have our Control Kit™, it contains the Whisper Light Bond™ (Dual-Sided). One has a black side, and one has a clear side, so you can experiment with what you like best.
The black side has a mini mascara-like wand, while the clear side has a precision tip applicator. This formula creates a base on the natural lash for false eyelashes to bond to and provides a flexible cushion to protect the lash from any tension.

Bondage® Extra Strength Bond With Charcoflex®
Our Bondage® Extra Strength Bond With Charcoflex® is a longer-wearing bond that also provides a flexible cushion. However, this formula dries quicker than our Whisper Light Bond.
Bondage is antimicrobial, waterproof, and can stand more water and heat than Whisper Light. We recommend Bondage for more experienced users. Once you gain a better understanding of placing your lashes and how the Lashify system works, you can achieve longevity with the use of this formula (seven to 10 days!).
Since the consistency of our Bondage formula is a bit runnier than Whisper Light, you may want to have a spoolie on hand to brush the bond through, to prevent over-bonding.
How To Use Our Bonds With Your Gossamers®
- Apply a light coat of Whisper Light (in black) through your natural lashes and wait up to one minute
- Then, dab Whisper Light (in black) to the base of your natural lashes above the root, and wait up to one minute again.
- Add dots of Whisper Light (in clear) about 1-2 mm above your waterline. This will serve as a reference point for where your Gossamers will be applied.
The key to using our bonds is to apply light coats — remember, less is more! — and to allow enough time for each layer to get tacky (30 seconds to a minute is ideal). Our bonds are buildable, so you can apply layers as needed.
Pro Tip: Pair Bondage with Whisper Light in black. Start by applying Whisper Light through your lashes, then let it get tacky. Next, take your Bondage wand, hold it vertically, and then carefully place small dots at the very base of your lashes.
How Else Can You Take Care of Your Natural Lashes?
Now that you have a better idea of how our lash bonds work and how to use them with your eyelash extensions, you might want to know a bit more about your natural lashes and how to keep them healthy.
Did you know that our eyelashes serve a specific purpose? Think of them as mini-umbrellas that help to shield and protect our eyes from debris. Eyelashes also take quite a bit of time to grow — up to two months! That’s why it’s so important to keep them healthy.
Luckily, there are some things you can do that may assist in eyelash growth:
- Take vitamins that contain biotin, something your body needs in order to produce keratin, a protein that makes up skin, hair, and nails. Biotin supplements and hair products that contain biotin often advertise the support of hair growth.
- Maintain healthy hygiene habits. The eyes are very sensitive to any kind of irritation. Make sure to take off all of your makeup before going to sleep and clean your makeup brushes and sponges regularly. Our Melt Away Remover just might come in handy here! Also, avoid expired makeup or sharing makeup.
- Use castor oil. Castor oil helps to soothe irritations caused by makeup and also helps prevent eyelash loss.
