At-Home Lashes: DIY Glam in Minutes
Whether you’ve got a big event on the horizon or just a mundane Monday, you’d like to level up, enhancing your lashes is one way to add a little luxe to your look. With at-home lash kits, you don’t have to make an appointment with a lash tech and spend hours of your time and loads of cash to get great looks.
DIY lash extensions are possible, and the Lashify™ team is here to help you perfect your at-home lash extension game. With the Lashify system, you’ll have the ability to Be Your Own Lash Tech™.
Put aside everything you think you know about DIY lashes, including any unfortunate experiences you might have had with strip lashes applied too far away from your lash line or individual lash extensions that just went wrong.
Here’s everything you need to know about getting great lashes at home.
How Long Will It Take?
If you’re used to spending a few hours at the salon to get lash extensions applied, we’ve got great news for you: at-home lashes take a fraction of the time. High-quality at-home lashes are typically applied either in strips or as lash clusters.
If you are a beginner, we highly recommend avoiding individual lash extensions, which can be incredibly difficult to apply. The Lashify DIY Lash Extension™ System takes about 10 to 20 minutes to apply once you become comfortable. The first time you apply, you may need to allow about 30 minutes.
How Long Will They Last?
Your mileage may vary depending on the brand of false eyelashes you choose. If you choose, for instance, typical drugstore strip lashes, you probably won’t be able to wear them longer than a few hours.
If you choose Lashify Gossamer lashes, you can wear them for up to 10 days with proper care. You can even wear your Gossamer lashes overnight with a little help from a great Sealer and a few tips and tricks.
What If I’m a Beginner?
You can absolutely apply your own false lashes even if you are a novice. The Lashify system is so easy to use that you’ll be able to wear your favorite wispy or fluttery lashes the very first time you apply them. Lashify Gossamer® lashes provide a natural look that reviewers say is virtually undetectable when worn.
How To Get Glam the Lashify Way
It only takes about 10-20 minutes to wear the latest lash styles when you use Lashify. Our system is different from other at-home lash kits. Our Gossamer lashes are 100% cruelty-free and made from Korean PBT silk.
Our Gossamer Lashes
Gossamer lashes are made unlike any other type of at-home lash you’ve ever tried. They’re best described as a hybrid between strip lashes and lash clusters. Each Gossamer has numerous lash fibers (depending on the volume you want) attached to a featherlight spine, which is a few millimeters long.
This allows each of the Gossamer lashes to be applied easily and separately, so you don’t have to worry about trimming down a strip lash or applying an individual lash extension fiber to each individual eyelash.
Our Bonds
At Lashify, we don’t use glue to adhere our Gossamer lashes to your natural lashes. Instead, we use Bonds.
Our Bonds do not contain any cyanoacrylates or formaldehyde-releasing chemicals like salon lash glues or other DIY lash extension systems do. Instead, they contain nourishing biotin and lavender, which help support healthy lash growth.
Lashify Bonds never fully cure like glue and adhesive. This prevents your natural lashes from becoming hard, brittle, and breaking.
Our Method
Application is easy, and our Gossamer lashes can be worn and re-worn numerous times. Each application can last up to 10 days with proper care, but your mileage may vary depending on your level of application expertise and how long you prefer to wear your Gossamer lashes.
Application is easy, but we provide tons of tutorials to help you along the way. No matter what issue you are having, there’s a tutorial to help you.
To apply your Gossamer lashes, you’ll first prep your lashes with an oil-free cleanser, like Pre Cleanse. Pre-Cleanse Japanese Cleansing Water is our gentle cleanser that helps keep your lashes and lids prepped for your Gossamer lash application.
During application, you’ll use Underlash Technology™ to apply your Gossamer lashes beneath your natural lashes, close to your waterline. This method of application makes it easier to wear and apply your lashes and is most forgiving if you don’t get your lashes placed perfectly.
Tools of the Trade
Put your tweezers away for good. The Fuse Control Wand is the only tool you’ll ever need to apply your Gossamer lashes. Designed to hug the curve of your eyelid, it’s the easiest way to hold your Gossamer lashes and apply them without any stress.
We also recommend you use Wandoms®. Because Lashify Bonds never fully cure, they become tacky during application. This tackiness helps your Gossamer lashes attach to your natural lashes. Wandoms fit over the ends of your Fuse Control Wand to ensure your Gossamer lashes don’t stick to your Fuse Control Wand during application.
Learning To Fuse
Fusing your Gossamer lashes is how they stay firmly affixed to your natural lashes. You can use two techniques to fuse your lashes: the full fuse and the reverse fuse.
The best fuse to use is the one that is most comfortable for you. A full fuse involves using the entire curved edge of the Fuse Control Wand, while a reverse fuse involves using only the tip with the wand curved away from your eye.
Getting started with the Lashify system is easy; you just have to grab the Control Kit™. The Control Kit is the starter kit that gives you the power to Be Your Own Lash Tech™.
Inside each kit, you’ll find:
Two Sets of Gossamer Lashes
Gossamer lashes are available in numerous different curl styles, shapes, colors, and lengths. You get to pick the styles you love, keeping in mind that you can mix and match them to create fully customizable looks. You can also check out our lash maps, which tell you which Gossamers to use and where to use them to create looks that our users love.
New to the Lashify collection is the I-Line™ Gossamer. This Gossamer set is our first pre-mapped set that gives you the look of winged eyeliner without the eyeliner. It’s the easy way to get gorgeous, winged liner and works great for people with hooded eye shapes with not a lot of eyelid space.
Fuse Control® Wand
The tool you need for the job. The Fuse Control Wand can help you get your Gossamers placed perfectly. For smaller hands, pick the Petit Curve Wand. For on-the-go touch-ups or travel, The Birdie® Wand is your go-to solution.
One Set of Wandoms®
Don’t get caught in a sticky situation. Trust your Wand to Wandoms to protect the tips and help you avoid getting a Gossamer stuck to the end of your Wand.
Whisper Light Bond™
One of our most popular Bonds, Whisper Light comes in both black and clear and never leaves behind a sticky, visible residue. Whisper Light helps keep your Gossamer lashes firmly affixed to your natural lashes without becoming hard or making your lashes brittle.
Glass Finishing Coat
You don’t have to seal your Gossamer lashes, but when you want to wear them for a long period of time, add a coat of Glass. Glass helps protect your Bonds and ensures your Gossamers stay locked in place, even overnight.
Samples
Prepping your lashes for a full set of Gossamer lashes is easy when you use our Pre Cleanse Japanese Cleansing Water. It also doubles as a facial cleanser. Use Melt Away, our dual-phase, oil-based makeup remover, when you’re ready to remove your Gossamer lashes easily and without pulling or tugging.
Everything you need comes in one easy, convenient, and hard case to keep your tools and Gossamer lashes safe, so you never have to wonder where your lash tools are.

Yes, you can get great lashes at home in just minutes. You don’t need to be a professional to use the Lashify system. It’s perfect for beginners and only takes about two applications before you feel comfortable.
