LASHIFY X 95TH ACADEMY AWARDS

Lashify swept Oscars weekend with show-stopping looks created by some of our favorite celebrity makeup artists. From pre-parties to the new champagne carpet and Vanity Fair After Party— Lashify left its mark. Read further to discover the Gossamer lashes that powered beauty looks on Lady Gaga, Vanessa Hudgens, Sabrina Impacciatore, Julia Garner, and Academy Award Winner Michelle Yeoh... just to name a few.

MICHELLE YEOH

MUA: Sabrina Bedrani (@sabrinabmakeup)

#LASHMAP: P10, 2x P12, A+14

What a momentous occasion celebrating the breaking of a glass ceiling and making of history with Michelle Yeoh as the first Asian woman to win Best Actress. Michelle's ethereal look was created by the talented Sabrina Bedrani whose beautiful artistry was worthy of a win in and of itself.

I wanted to open Michelle’s eyes by giving her added volume in the middle and lengthening the outer corner for more of a cat eye look. I started Michelle’s lash look from the outer corner with a single Lashify A+14 to elongate her eye. I worked my way from the  outer corner to the inner with two P12 Lashify Gossamers. To add volume I applied two P10 Gossamers  at the inner corner of her eye.”

LADY GAGA

MUA: Sarah Tanno (@sarahtannomakeup)

#LASHMAP: B10, B12, D14, D16, B16

No one turns heads quite like Lady Gaga, who stunned the champagne carpet with a bold makeup look to complement her fresh off the runway Versace gown. Celebrity makeup artist Sarah Tanno chose best-selling Bold and Drama Gossamer styles for "the most killer, custom lash look.”

VANESSA HUDGENS

MUA: Tonya Brewer (@thetonyabrewer)

#LASHMAP: SB12, 2x SB14, SB12

For Vanessa's look, the team wanted to keep the makeup chic and timeless in order to complement her Chanel gown. Brewer decided to do a super full fluffy lash and turned to her favorite piecey lashes, the Starburst Gossamers, for giving Hudgens a total "lash moment without looking too heavy".

SABRINA IMPACCIATORE

MUA: Lisa Aharon (@lisaaharon)

#LASHMAP: B+10, 2x B+12, B12

For Sabrina Impacciatore's dreamy look, Aharon wanted to give her makeup "a little Rock 'N Roll edge" alongside her stunning, soft-pink Giambastista Vali gown. "To achieve a bolder lash and compliment the darker eye I used B+ on the inner corners, and B+12 in the middle with the more bold B12 on the outer corners."

KATE HUDSON

MUA: Tonya Brewer (@thetonyabrewer)

#LASHMAP: SD10 SD12 SD12 SD10

Kate Hudson was nothing short of radiant at the #VanityFair After Party and aside from the stunning gown— her eyes did all the talking. Brewer pulled off this piecey look by using the Stardust Gossamer lash in a variety of lengths.

JULIA GARNER

MUA: Emily Cheng (@emilychengmakeup)

#LASHMAP: C8, 2x C10, P11

Garner's look was all about playing off the ornate aspects of her dress, with a sculpted finish to her face with an emphasis on a winged, drawn out eye. "I chose the Plushy Gossamer style to get that perfect whisper of a wing at the outer corner of her eye. I wanted the emphasis to be on the outer corner so I kept the lashes on the inner corner lighter, with the Curl Gossamer. The lash map I created helped me achieve the lifted, almond shaped eye that I had envisioned. I wanted the look to feature a soft, whisper of a wing with light feathery lashes that look like they were Julia’s own."

PHOEBE TONKIN

MUA: Beau Nelson (@beaunelson)

#LASHMAP: B8, PT9, PT10, PT11, PT12

Celebrity makeup artist Beau Nelson touts himself as a "Lashify devotee" who consistently uses Lashify to give a perfect dramatic, but not over-the-top lash look. Phoebe wanted a classic red lip that Nelson paired with natural full lashes. He used Gossamer styles Plushy Tame and Bold to create "a voluminous lash with a slight gradual lift to the outer edge of the eye."

CHRISTINA HENDRICKS

MUA: Beau Nelson (@beaunelson)

#LASHMAP: B8, PT9, PT10, PT11, 2x PT12

"I always have fun figuring out new lash maps and combinations of lash styles to try on my clients," says Nelson. Not one to shy away from creativity, he paired together Bold and Plushy Tame Gossamer styles to create an eye-opening look for Hendricks.
