A must-have product from celebrity makeup artists at the Golden Globes, Lashify lent a golden touch to a handful of starlets for their award show looks.
Reese Witherspoon
To bring drama to the lash line, celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan relied on Lashify to create a doe-eyed look. "The fluffy lashes add a bit of playfulness," Kelsey notes. On the outer two thirds of the lash line, Deenihan applied Gossamers in F10 for fullness, then stacked the longer Gossamers in F12 over the very outer corners, and A8 on the inner corners to amplify the natural lashes. "This added a slight lift to the corners of the eye," Deenihan says.
Kate McKinnon
Celebrity makeup artist Cassandra Garcia added fullness and length to McKinnon's natural lashes to complement her rock 'n' roll gunmetal eye look. Garcia applied longer B14 Gossamers to the outer corners to accentuate the smoldering eye, and kept the medium-length A12 Gossamers concentrated in the middle and inner corners. "They're really wispy and kind of taper at the ends, so it really does give the illusion of your natural lashes, just better. They're totally invisible to the eye, and it also gave me more room to get that smoldering look on the rest of the lid."
Nicole Kidman
To bring focus to Nicole's eyes, celebrity makeup artist Kate Synnott used A12 Gossamers along the top lash line, followed by three B14 Gossamers at the outer corners for fullness and volume. "This was my first time using Lashify, and I have to say, the lashes are absolutely amazing," Synnott says. "I cannot get over how realistic they look— and so lightweight. I'm obsessed."
Natasha Lyonne
Natasha Lyonne, nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy for Russian Doll was Lashified by celebrity makeup artist, Molly Stern. Stern kept the lashes brown for a soft, yet bold look by applying Prismatic Dark Brown Gossamers. "I applied a full row of A12 Gossamers, and then popped the edges with two extra A14 Gossamers."
Gugu Mbatha-Raw
For Gugu's golden look, celebrity makeup artist Nick Barose used Lashify to avoid heavy eyes by applying Lashify to play up the flirty lashes and define the eyes. He placed three A8 Gossamers toward the center of the lash lines, then applied the longer A10 Gossamers on the outer corners, "going from short to longer toward the outside lifts and opens up the eyes."
